Located in the vibrant locality of Żebbuġ, this three-storey commercial development represented one of the more demanding structural undertakings completed by our firm. From the outset, the project called for meticulous planning and considerable engineering expertise. A large retaining wall was designed to support an adjacent water basin, resolving substantial lateral loads with precision and ensuring the long-term stability of the site. The varied loading conditions across the floors demanded exceptional skill and ingenuity from our team of structural engineers. One floor, required to carry very heavy loads, was elegantly resolved as a two-way continuous reinforced concrete plate, while the remaining floors were designed as continuous flat-plated structures supported solely by columns, allowing for smooth load distribution and generous, uninterrupted floor space. Given the high visibility of the project, particular attention was devoted to the design and presence of the building. This development stands today as a completed architectural achievement in the heart of Żebbuġ — a structurally robust and visually refined solution that reflects our firm’s commitment to engineering excellence.
